Meet The Team

I grew up in Alamance County and graduated from Western Alamance High School.  After high school, I graduated from Campbell University.  I met Melanie while she was attending Elon University and fell in love quickly.  I had a job opportunity in Virginia and couldn’t fathom being away from Melanie, so we got married and moved to Virginia.  After a couple of years, we moved back to North Carolina to start our family.  

I have always asked God to provide me with a ministry opportunity outside of the local church.  He has been faithful in answering my prayers.  He has provided me with a position with the Boy Scouts, Special Olympics, a corporate management position, and then opening my own Reavis Handyman Service,  with my three sons.  Faith Preschool is the most recent answer to my prayer.  I would not have ever thought a door like Faith Preschool would be opened.  Melanie and I are excited about this ministry opportunity to point children to Jesus and introduce His saving grace to all who walk on the campus of Faith Preschool.

 I am a wife and mom of 3 boys (ages 15, 18, and 19).  I homeschooled them for most of their education.    While I wouldn’t trade my time with them for anything in the world, I am so happy to be working with younger kids.  They bring me so much joy and keep me young.

I love being a preschool director and I work with the best team ever.   The staff here truly love the kids and each other.  It shows when you walk into our building.  We work hard but we have a good time too.

I have been in education for 20+ years.  I graduated from Greensboro College with a degree in elementary education.   I taught kindergarten for a few years before our family started homeschooling.

I enjoy life and try to have some fun every day.  I’m the kind of person who will wear a chicken costume and act goofy, just to make the kids smile.  I like to spend time with my family, crochet things I can give away, and shop on Amazon.  I also enjoy going out to eat.  My husband says my favorite food group is anything with bread or cheese.

I have a 34 year old son named Tarik.  I have worked in childcare for over 30 years. 8 of those years have been at our current location.  I earned my childcare credentials from ACC.    In my free time, I like to volunteer with Meals on Wheels, watch movies and shop online.

Khristall loves spending time with her family. She has a husband named Harold. They have two kids, Tyler and Kloee. Khristall tries to have fun wherever she goes. She loves the mountains and loves her coffee. (and her tumbler cups) But really, Khristall loves her job here at Faith Preschool. Her passion is helping kids grow. She calls her class her kids, and they bring a smile to her face every day.

I am 31 years old, and a mother of two incredible children, Chase & Millie. After graduating from Southern Alamance High School, I went to Alamance Community College to study Early Childhood Education. I have been working in childcare on and off for about four years now. I have always had a passion for children and when I became a mother, that passion grew even stronger. My absolute favorite thing is spending time with my family. I also love the beach and summer time! I love going out to eat and to the movies with my kids. I do not have much alone time, but when I do a good book and Starbucks makes my heart happy.

I have worked in childcare since 2021 and I have loved every minute of it!  I have taken courses at ACC for Early childhood education. A few things about me:  I have a fur baby named Bruno whom I enjoy walking and playing with as well a spoiling him! In my free time I enjoy spending time with my fiance Jorge and my family & friends. I enjoy doing photography, and reading.  I love watching all the children develop and grow with their learning and having impacts on their early years of growing. 

I got the teaching bug from my mom, she was a school  teacher for over 30 years. However, I prefer teaching the younger children. After teaching in preschool for many years , I took sometime away from it. 

I have been teaching K4 here for 2 years I am blessed to be here. I am here with the greatest teachers ever! Great children! God is good!

A couple of my favorite things to do is to be with my family. Especially my two grandchildren. Grady and Reagan! They are precious!

I also love to read. Especially Karen Kingsbury books!

I can’t forget about traveling!  Lot’s of beautiful things to see out there!!

I have to say it again, God is good!!

I have worked in childcare for over 5 years and I LOVE my job!   I work in all of our preschool classrooms so I get to work with all of our kids.   I like to spend my free time with my family.  I have a beautiful, sassy two-year-old, Sadie Rae.
